Sweet Gumby has been the biggest lover here at Citation Kennels, in more ways than one.  Gumby enjoyed the dog shows mostly to schmooze with the crowd and flirt with the ladies, both human and canine.  From the time he was a puppy he was a cuddler, more interested in nibbling on earlobes and snuffling sweet nothings than in leading the pack.  Gumby was blessed with excellent bone, soundness and coordination that makes him the most athletic of all my hounds.  Also known as "Houndini Hound," Gumby excels at digging under or scaling the toughest fences, particularly if there is a bitch in season as an incentive.  The fine, thin skin covering his soft lips allow for an amazing dexterity in undoing snaps, latches and locks in order to get to the young lady of his dreams.  But all he has to do is look at me with his sweet, soft expression and all is forgiven. While he's been maturing, Gumby has been training with the police department where we live.  He thinks scent trailing is the second most wonderful thing he has ever done!!  This special boy has been so easy to love.
