Rest in PEACE Ticket -- 11/26/03
Ah, Ticket.  What a delight she was to show and what a pain she has been to live with (smart, pushy ones always are)!!  While her three littermates were still toddling around and tripping on their ears, Ticket was looking for trouble to get into and reaching out for it without looking back.

Ticket knew she was special from her first time in the show ring.  Head up, tail high, she would float across the ring with a long-reaching stride that would take your breath away.  Her strengths were an exceptional shoulder assembly balanced with a nicely angulated rear, for the perfect blend of reach and drive.

This girl was so much fun to show!  As a youngster she went Best in Sweepstakes at both the North Central Regional Specialty and the 1995 ABC National Specialty.  Her first group placement came before she was even finished.  More rosettes followed and she ultimately became my first Hound Group winner less than a month after she turned three. From her first litter Ticket produced two champions.
